Fluid-o-Tech外嚙合齒輪泵是應(yīng)用最廣泛的一種齒輪泵，一般齒輪泵通常指的就是外嚙合齒輪泵。它的結(jié)構(gòu)如圖5-14所示，主要有主動(dòng)齒輪、從動(dòng)齒輪、泵體、泵蓋和安全閥等組成。泵體、泵蓋和齒輪構(gòu)成的密封空間就是齒輪泵的工作室。兩個(gè)齒輪的輪軸分別裝在兩泵蓋上的軸承孔內(nèi)，主動(dòng)齒輪軸伸出泵體，由電動(dòng)機(jī)帶動(dòng)旋轉(zhuǎn)。外嚙合齒輪泵結(jié)構(gòu)簡(jiǎn)單、重量輕、造價(jià)低、工作可靠、應(yīng)用范圍廣。
齒輪泵工作時(shí)，主動(dòng)輪隨電動(dòng)機(jī)一起旋轉(zhuǎn)并帶動(dòng)從動(dòng)輪跟著旋轉(zhuǎn)。當(dāng)吸入室一側(cè)的嚙合齒逐漸分開(kāi)時(shí)，吸入室容積增大，壓力降低，便將吸人管中的液體吸入泵內(nèi)；吸入液體分兩路在齒槽內(nèi)被齒輪推送到排出室。液體進(jìn)入排出室后，由于兩個(gè)齒輪的輪齒不斷嚙合，使液體受擠壓而從排出室進(jìn)入排出管中。主動(dòng)齒輪和從動(dòng)齒輪不停地旋轉(zhuǎn)，泵就能連續(xù)不斷地吸入和排出液體。
泵體上裝有安全閥，當(dāng)排出壓力超過(guò)規(guī)定壓力時(shí)，輸送液體可以自動(dòng)頂開(kāi)安全閥，使高壓液體返回吸入管。

Disassembly Instructions Provide a clean surface for work area. Separate the pumphead from the magnet cap. Remove the 3 screws and disassemble front housing, driven gear , central housing and dowel pins . If the pump is equipped with by-pass, make sure not to damage the sealing poppet . Remove the poppet assembly from the adjusting screw (fig. 5), remove the by-pass nut, the adjusting screw turning counter-clockwise, the by-pass washer and the by pass seal from the cap.
